I work in specialty coffee in the United States, so I was super stoked to visit this cafe in our quick stay in Galway. After reading many reviews it’s easy to see why. Although it was a busy afternoon the staff was very kind and our drinks came out fairly quick. The most solid capp I had while in Ireland! The only regret is that we didn’t know there was extra seating upstairs, we definitely would have stayed longer. This is a must stop for all coffee people!

Deservedly one of the best coffee shops in Europe. Small location with somewhat limited seating (more outside if the weather is good), but the coffee is spectacular and expertly crafted. A good selection of coffee beans, paraphernalia, and other artsy and artisanal products on sale. The staff were friendly and offered comments on coffee selection despite it being quite busy. Two floors of seating above the brew bar, though not the best spot to sit and do some work, with limited tables/workspace. But the coffee is incredible, did I mention that?

The Organic chai was one of the best chai teas I have had. Spiced very nicely. My other half had the pourover which the one at the time was very nice.

This is the best coffee I’ve had in Ireland. Also a cute shop with a Nordic-Japanese vibe. Seating outside and upstairs.

21/12/2024: Myself and one of my friends had the teriyaki chicken don and it tasted so good. The chicken was marinated and the rice mixed with the sauce was heavenly and a great mix of savoury and sweet. The egg was chopped up very finely and had a soft texture and the green beans had a very refreshing flavour and I think it was blanched so it had a very refreshing crunch to it! Some of the juices sunk down to the bottom of the bowl and it was such a sweet and delicious flavour. I would say we waited quite a while but there was only one cook when we went so it made sense. The inside is decorated really well and the atmosphere felt really welcoming. My other friend had the tempura sushi roll and miso soup and she really enjoyed it. Price wise, you are definitely getting more than what you paid for. I've paid more in other restaurants for less amounts of food. I paid €18 for the teriyaki chicken don and I would definitely say I got my money's worth. The wait was like 40 minutes for 3 people and it was quite empty, so if you are on a tight schedule you might not want to go, but I personally don't mind waiting 40 minutes for a meal. 10/10 I would really recommend to go and I'm definitely going again!! 🤤🤤🙏🙏
