Coffin Shed in Rathdrum

We had breakfast here this morning , a gorgeous cafe in the centre of Rathdrum. We arrived at maybe 11am and it was super busy , the lady told us we could sit outside but to expect a wait as many people had arrived at once . We only had to wait about 10 mins and our order was taken. The food followed quickly after . The menu is limited as in it really specializes in a fry or breakfast roll. I got the workman's which was huge , it came with toast and tea or coffee for 15 quid . I was stuffed all day . The Sausages were the nicest I've had in a while and I appreciate the fact that you get more than just a spoonful a beans . Girl serving us was super nice and we were really well looked after . I'll definitely be back.

BRING CASH!! Other than that, you'll be just fine. They were able to help us out, as we're foreigners, but if you're able to grab some cash from an ATM before you, that'll help you out a lot. We ordered takeaway before a long hike at Avondale and it was exactly what we needed to fuel our day. Wonderful ladies at the counter, lovely atmosphere outside, and the BLT was DIVINE.

Found the Coffin Shed today by accident. Did the Vale of Clara nature reserve walk. Was ready for a coffee, googled places and it brought us there. Well what a gem of a place. Absolutely fantastic. The staff would chat all day while doing the job. Food beautiful. Would totally recommend it. Well done.

An absolute gem of spot, was recommended to us by a local and by God he was on the ball, staff were bubbly and up for the crsic, service was clean and prompt. Outside seating in gorgeous weather. Workmans breakfast was spot on, perfect portion size and fabulous. Definitely will return
