We were here at the pub and had something to eat and drink. Great selection of different beers.
Small menu; we had Jacobsburgers, which were very large and delicious.
This has to be a five star 🌟 food fantastic great location staff a credit to the owners anytime im in Rathdrum I call in for breakfast or lunch outstanding
23/03/2025: We went for a long walk in Avondale Forest and were just looking for a quick bite nearby. Man, what a gorgeous surprise! It was my son's girlfriend's birthday and we couldn't have stumbled upon better food. Creme of chicken had a lovely coconut twist. The pate was great. The starter prawns were spicy and full-flavoured. The steak was juicy, the burgers flavourful and the linguini fresh. Dessert menu was really good, everything fresh. We will definitely be back!
29/12/2024: We had a beautiful meal in Bates Restaurant. It was a lovely atmosphere, food delicious and service charming. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Deirdre Siobhan and Marian.
