Old world hotel. No extras such as bottled water, toiletries. They dont matter. Hotel bedroom was spotless. Bed very comfortable. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast each morning. Very helpful staff. Hotel is located in a great place. Will definitely go back again

Very basic rooms, but clean. Live music daily in the on-site pub. Super central location. The car park is quite small, but there are paid and free public parking spaces nearby.

Nice hotel, service and staff very friendly. Based right in the heart of the town. But the trade off is that it can be quite noisy until around midnight. Social bar downstairs reasonably priced. Room was a little dated with wear and tear. Clean though and beds comfy. No WiFi that I know of though. Would recommend for a staying a few nights as a base for sure.

25/07/2026: Very slow service event whem quiet. Would have expected this to improve with the refurbishment
14/07/2026: There was plastic inside my burger... Tiny bit of white plastic!!! I've already made a complaint but never heard anything back!! .... Definitely check your food before you start eating 👍 *UPDATE FROM LAST BAD VISIT* greatly improved!! Lovely store now 👍 and food was roasting so that's good! I have to say I really enjoyed it and new layout off the lobby 👍💙.... Good work mcds!!
