Meal was excellent on the way to Kylemoore Abbey. Left my sunglasses at the restaurant, so the owner put them aside and sent them right away the following day. Great place!

A wonderful little restaurant with fresh food and a very pleasant, quiet atmosphere. Something different. A small menu with select dishes with a traditional touch, freshly prepared. Make sure you make a reservation in advance; it's worth it.

There's only one word to describe our evening here: perfect!
Starter: Duck terrine to share
Main course: Salmon, smoked or grilled, both excellent and served with salad
Main course: Spicy beef casserole, warm and comforting, full of flavor.
Dessert: Pear frangipane tart, Bakewell tart, or brownies; the plates are all served empty.
The dishes are plentiful, generously served, and made with local produce. The service was impeccable and attentive to our every need.

We were a party of five. All had different dishes from the menu. Each were lovely. The manager and the waiter were great to talk to and made our time at the restaurant really enjoyable. Thanks so much.

We had an extremely good meal. The menu isn't too long, and the ingredients are fresh and local (the suppliers are listed, a real plus). It was flawless from starter to dessert.
The staff is also very friendly; I highly recommend it ☺️

Just like the previous one, the owner speaks French very well. They were very accommodating to us. We hadn't booked on a Friday night, even though it was full. He kindly offered to let us come back an hour later, which we did by going to a pub a little further away for our aperitif. We could have had it outside. We had a great time.

We read the reviews and thought it sounded good. So glad we booked dinner here- it was everything and more we’d read! It is a small enough space so would recommend booking during touristy season, but for a small space, it has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The staff, led by Jonnie was super friendly and knowledgeable. Jonnie was the perfect host-you can tell he is passionate about food and chatted amiably with the various guests. His wife is the chef in the restaurant and creator of a wonderfully diverse menu. My husband had mussels and a hake with chorizo for main, while I had my eye on the desert so opted for 2 starters, although the portions were very generous for both starters so barely had room for the excellent brownie. I picked the tasty chowder and a really yummy warm goats cheese salad. Will be back for sure! I had a glass of wine and my husband had apple pie. Dinner came to €80-we had both expected it to be higher as the quality was so fresh and tasty and portions were decent, so we were very happy with that experience.

Excellent petit restaurant, accueil et service charmant, des plats simples avec une touche de créativité, préparés sur place avec des produits locaux… et le tout à des prix très doux . À essayer sans hésiter !
