Cookhouse Galway in An cheathrú rua

I’ve been coming to gatto rosso at least once a week since they opened. The staff are always lovely and the place has a very family like feel to it. I bring all of my friends and family here and when we want to go out for dinner Gatto Rosso is always the where we decide. The food is absolutely gorgeous, simple food done very well. I have never had a bad day when it ended with a glass of wine in Gatto Rosso and is always my happy place when i’m feeling down.

They charged us a tip without consulting us first. The food was good but not for the price they have, adding the tip. Excessive and failure of the waitress to not comment on the issue of the tip, even though they spoke Spanish.

It is a lovely new restaurant on Eyre square Galway, well for me was new. I visited my friend and had a lunch here pizza and pasta, all was delicious. Staff all great, very friendly and kind. Highly revommend.😍🍕🍝🥤

Where do I begin.. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner but I had a few issues.. first issue being the waitresses, I found the service of the waitresses very dour and depressing. You couldn’t shake a smile out of them. I felt very judged eating my food because they questioned the amount of food I ordered. Secondly while I was eating my dinner, they were laughing at me and pointing not in my language, however, there was a male standing in the pizzeria staring at me when I was eating my dinner. I didn’t take much notice to it, until I counted to 10 minutes in my head and he was still staring at me, but this time with his tongue out. uncomfortable wouldnt be the word to describe how I was feeling. To end how I was feeling I had to turn my back to him. I don’t know if you’ll see me back here until I feel that the scenery in this restaurant is to my comfort and that I can have a friendly chat with one of the waitresses without being judged. I went home after my dinner and was so upset that I cried. Also I found the food here very expensive and I spent all my communion money.

As good a pizza as I have had . OK its a little pricey , but for the location it's fine.
