Llamé para almorzar con mi madre y mi hija en nuestro camino de West Cork a Tipperary. Solía venir aquí regularmente cuando vivía en la zona hace veinte años y siempre me alegra ver que sigue siendo tan excelente como siempre - super servicio, deliciosa comida y gran relación calidad-precio. ¡Uno de mis favoritos!

Ate here on the way back from Dublin. Lovely chicken goujons and mash and gravy. They were a bit spicy. I loved them but might be a bit peppery for kids. Lovely staff. Spotless clean. If passing again I will definitely stop another time and try something a bit more adventurous.

Come here everytime I am over. I travel from England to see family. Really nice food, lovely homely atmosphere. Staff are attentive and kind, always make you feel welcome. Very clean too. I have either lasagne or turkey and ham. Tried a dessert this time, the death by chocolate. Highly recommend.

Food absolutely fantastic, never fails to disappoint. Service airy fairy. Nearly ten minutes from first main course to the table to the last and it wasn't a bit group. Ordering desert before water was brought to last few at table. Extra sides not brought at all.

A bit out of the way now with the motorway bypassing it, but lovely food and enough on the plate to fill. The lamb shoulder was fab, lasagne great, Beef lovely but I wouldn't recommend the steak sandwich with toasted bagette/ciabatta. Both of us struggled with it as it was so hard.

We had a club outing there recently. The rooms and warmth were excellent. Almost too warm! The quality and choice of food was exemplary. I had wild salmon fish cakes to start - excellent with great accompanying salad. Main was superb slow cooked lamb Creamy fresh fruit meringue to finish. Service GREAT. We'll be back!!I

12/02/2025: I enjoy coming here before or after hikes especially if the weather is great. Lovely treats and they love dogs, my pooch always gets fresh water and pets when we come! Looking forward to visiting soon!

The Station House Hotel

11/05/2025: Lovely scenic gardens and forest, surrounding an excellent food location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Family friendly in every way.
10/05/2025: We took a visit The Station House for lunch with the family. Our first viewing on a beautiful spring day, for what will be the venue for a wedding next year. I can't wait. It was beautiful. The food was gorgeous, the staff were lovely. Overall, the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. I can't wait to go back. Can't comment on the rooms as there was a wedding happening while we were at lunch.
