18/04/2025: Food is delicious and will be back again
06/04/2025: Fabulous food as always in O'Gormans. Whether it's the Sunday carvery or the à la carte, we are always happy. Try the southern fried chicken and add some gravy. O'Gorman's gravy is to die for and the vegetables are always fresh. We were only just saying how the staff are nice across the board and can't do enough for you. As a local who frequently goes to O'Gormans with friends and family, I'm shocked at some of the reviews. Take them with a pinch of salt because it's well worth a visit.

The Wandering Elk

25/04/2025: Had this place on my list for a while and was delighted to finally try it I got the pulled pork BBQ sandwich and it was delicious and got an espresso too which was top notch.
09/02/2025: The Wandering Elk in Portlaoise is a great spot for a casual bite. Their toasted sandwich was amazing—crispy, packed with flavour, and great value for money. The coffee was delicious and paired perfectly with their sweet treats. Service was efficient but could have been a bit more welcoming. Still, for a tasty, satisfying lunch, it’s well worth a visit.
