I've been here a few times and I've never had an issue, it's always clean and the staff are always very nice The coffees are really good value because they're massive. Their medium is about the size of a usual large. The sandwiches are overpriced but it's the same in any similar coffee shop.

We got 2 coffees the waiters u could see wanted to be else whare no manners i asked fir the coffee n pucture was nothing like it ice coffee without the cream capicino was auful jyst trown out no fancy top to coffee staff need to be removed asap.

This was my first visit here but I've been to a lot of Costa's. The food was up to Costa standards, but the coffee was a bit above standard. Really nice staff and a large area at the back with plenty of light but far less noise.

The Idle Hour

06/12/2024: What should be a gorgeous old school pub is ruined by screens. There are 2 huge TVs behind the bar showing 2 different sports that no one was watching while I was there. Added to this were 2 bright advertising screens running Guinness adds. Their poor choice of strobing Christmas lights combine with the screens to create a very flashy amusement arcade like atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient. This could be a beautiful pub.
14/10/2024: Lovely pub with great pints & a nice atmosphere, music is not too loud. Great for catching up with friends
