We had an amazing visit. My husband ordered the lasagne and he was very happy! The kids enjoyed their meal and the desserts at the end. My highlight was our waitress, Olive! So accommodating and friendly. We’re travelling through Ireland and it has been my favourite restaurant so far because of her kindness!

We were invited down to a 90th birthday party to the courtyard over the weekend, we had a wonderful night and enjoyed the finger food and sandwiches. The staff were very friendly and helpful, lovely music with Theresa and the stars, most important was there was plenty of room for dancing as well, there is a fine big parking area just across the road.

Had an excellent meal here on Sunday - the chicken strippers were excellent and there was plenty of options such as roast dinner and a good children menu for my child. One gap on the menu I felt was a burger option but that's nit-picking, we had an excellent meal.

We had our meal for our intimate wedding in the newly refurbished room at the courtyard, and it was simply beautiful! From day one Bernie, Elaine and team treated us so well and delivered on everything! Atmosphere, service and the most beautiful meal .. we couldn’t recommend them highly enough ❤️

The Old Deanery Cottages Ferns

21/03/2025: Absolutely wonderful experience with both the accommodations and the host!
23/10/2024: Would highly recommend the Old Deanery for any group trip, after spending the weekend there. Bryanna and co. were so welcoming and made sure we were all well looked after. The cottages were very comfortable, with each having a kitchen and all the bedrooms having en suites - ideal for a hen party in particular! Having communal spaces in the barn and courtyard was great for group gatherings/activities. Having the entire place to ourselves was fantastic and really added to the whole experience, especially as it was so homely and picturesque. 10/10
