Craineen's Pub in Cahirciveen

Great pub, good beer and great food! The owner came out to serve us our stew and was a lovely man, would recommend the pub to anyone staying in the area or doing the ring of Kerry!

Came in for dinner, stayed for drinks and the atmosphere! Fantastic hearty Guinness stew presented by a lovely chef who turned out to be the humble owner, and made great by the friendly and attentive bar staff - highlight of our trip

We spent two weeks in mid-August in Ireland. We did a ton of fantastic and memorable things during that two weeks, but for me this “drink/eat like a local” will always be one of my best afternoons of this vacation. Tommy (“The Yank”) couldn’t have been a more gracious host. His storytelling skills are the best! He even got one of our friends behind the bar and taught him to to pour a “proper pint”. If you’re driving the Ring of Kerry and looking for a place to kick back, chill, and “feel like a local”, you’re not going to find a better place than Craineen’s! Well done, Tommy.

It was recommended by a good friend and did not disappoint. Great place to chill with a pint.

Good burgers and the Guinness tastes good too.
