Crème French in Cork

12/07/2025: Pretty nice hotel in a beautiful area. We had some issues, but overall a nice stay. The spa and pool amenities seem to be a big draw, but we didn’t try them, so can’t comment. The rooms themselves were more 3 star than 4 star quality. The shower pressure was sporadic, and the soap dispenser was falling off the wall due to failing command strips. We arrived only 30 mins early and were told our rooms weren’t ready yet, and they would call us as soon as they were. They didn’t call until 45 mins after the supposed check-in time. We were able to park in the attached car park before check-in and after check-out, which was convenient. I will say that the air conditioning was strong, and we appreciated it during a bit of a heat wave. The hotel sits on the riverwalk, and it was very enjoyable to walk along the river for the ~30 minute walk into Cork city. The lobby is lovely, and the staff were nothing but kind. I definitely think it could be worth staying here if you plan to spend several days enjoying the spa and pool, but it’s not particularly convenient for visiting the city.
