Dropped in on our way to the ferry. Very warm welcome and when we said we didnt have much time they brought our food and drink very quickly. Atmosphere was nice and the food good.

We went there for the pool table, lovely place mostly the locals, had a nice chat with them as well.

We just wanted an evening meal as we’d traveled from Northern Ireland in order to catch an early morning ferry and were in a nearby B&B. The landlady recommended this pub. It didn’t disappoint. Prompt service, a good choice of dishes and “specials”, good selection of beers, and a cocktail menu. We had lamb shank and green Thai curry with prawns. Reasonably priced. While we were there Kat Slater (Jessy Wallace) from Eastenders popped in, to the delight of the locals and barman!

Nice pub. We were there for a christening on a Sunday. Pub was fairly quite. Has a huge beer garden out the back so I'd say that is beautiful to sit at in good weather. Just one thing l found odd they didn't sell tea or coffee.... which is abit unusual for a pub. But other than that it's a nice pub.
