Was in Cork on vacation with the husband and was looking for some food with a bit of a kick. We decided to go to Curry corner, but was saddend to realize that they are only takeway, however we found some stairs close by - and the food led to heaven... amazing food, perfectly spice balance 10 out of 10.

I absolutely love Curry Corner! The food is always bursting with flavour and the quality is consistently excellent. Their butter chicken never fails rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced every time. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the care that goes into each dish.It’s easily one of my go-to spots when I’m craving something comforting and delicious. Highly recommend!

Food was beautiful the lamb was falling apart so tender, and the man I spoke to on the phone gave us a free desert called a culab jamu I think it’s a traditional dish in India or Pakistan maybe, it was beautiful will definitely be back👍🏼

Went here tonight for my first time, spoke with a very pleasant and friendly member of staff and asked him to give me a curry of his recommendations, I cannot remember the name of it but it was hands down the nicest curry I have ever tasted, a sweet and savoury flavour, had it with pilau rice. Will definitely be going back there again. This place is a 10/10 for me, the food tastes top quality.

02/08/2025: Interesting museum. It's very small and contains a lot of exhibits – unfortunately, many of them without any explanations. For example, at the entrance, there are many photos on a screen, but the information is lacking. Overall, the museum could use at least twice as much space, and the exhibition needs to be made much more user-friendly. It's very noisy in the space (a former church). The café is nice, with delicious cakes and friendly staff. There's a small garden with a pond at the back.
25/07/2025: Didn't actually visit the museum just went in for lunch. The cafe is excellent. I did walk many of the mining trails and the information plaques were very good.

28/05/2025: I have been to this place quite a few times. Being a vegetarian, there are limited options, and the quantity of curry is too low for the price. Some of the restaurants serve a bowl of plain basmati rice with the curry, but this place doesn't. It seems expensive, and even a portion is moderate.
