Daata in Greystones

Daata Greystones is in my opinion is the essence of civilisation. That we can enjoy the amazing food and hospitality of a far away nation on our doorstep is sublime. The food, ambiance and service are second to none. Myself and family are regular visitors and are welcomed every time as if it were a homecoming by the outstanding Jess (who could teach some Michelin Star managers manners). Long live Daata

Me and my family went in for dinner with my family. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was nice and the servers were very attentive to 5/5 would recommend

Food and drinks were amazing as usual and staff are super welcoming especially Jessil who was serving our table. Highly recommended the coconut curry and the Afghani curry.

From the outside this restaurant looks small however once you enter the front door it’s absolutely amazing from the front of house staff, the quirky decor and the variety on the menu this place does disappoint. The food is presented beautifully dressed to perfection with absolute care taken on every tiny detail. The samosa’s were so flavorful and light, butter chicken was so tender and tasty. The black Dhaal was something we hadn’t seen on an Indian menu before and decided to try it. It was beautiful the spices and texture was perfect. The staff were lovely and the food came out piping hot and very quick service. Definitely recommend this place and will be back loved it.

Gezellig restaurant met heel vriendelijk personeel. We zijn 2x geweest en het Indiase eten is echt heel goed en smakelijk. Op de kaart wordt duidelijk aangegeven of de gerechten mild, medium of spicy zijn. Wij kozen de medium en wat mij betreft precies spicy genoeg. De lassi was een beetje te romig, maar qua smaak prima. We bestelden de bhindi bhaji, lamb & spinach en Saleems butter chicken. Daarnaast de garlic & coriander naan die echt overheerlijk was. Echt een aanrader voor als je van redelijk authentiek Indiaas eten houdt.
