We had such a wonderful evening here. The pasta was cooked to perfection, rich and flavorful without being heavy, and the service was warm and attentive from start to finish. The atmosphere felt cozy and inviting—ideal for a relaxed dinner. Everything came out fresh and beautifully presented. Definitely one of our new favorites. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Daata Greystones, and from the food to the service, everything was spectacular. Chef Farooq Bhai was absolutely brilliant, and as always, Daata never fails to make it a memorable night for us. A special mention to Daniel as well, who always makes us feel so welcome and comfortable.
Thank you to the entire team for another wonderful experience. It’s a must-visit if you’re looking for amazing food and exceptional hospitality. Cheers!

Fantastic experience. Atmosphere, food, cocktails, service all couldn't be better. Prawn pakora and afghani chicken the highlights but everything was exceptional.

Thanks to chef Farooq and the team. Daata continues to impress with both presentation and flavour. The Reshmi Seekh Kebab was beautifully cooked succulent, juicy, and packed with delicate spices without being overpowering. The creamy cheese topping added richness, while the fresh mint, coriander, and squeeze of lime balanced everything perfectly. Served sizzling, every bite was tender with a subtle smoky char that made it stand out.
The Nawabi Chicken Handi was equally outstanding. The chicken was incredibly tender, simmered in a velvety, mildly spiced creamy sauce that was rich without feeling heavy. The dish had layers of flavour with a gentle warmth rather than intense heat, making it comforting and satisfying. Paired with the fluffy, freshly baked naan, every mouthful was delicious. The refreshing raita complemented the curry perfectly, adding a cool contrast to the rich sauce.
The Chicken Biryani was another highlight of the meal. Fragrant basmati rice was perfectly cooked, with each grain separate and infused with aromatic spices. The tender pieces of chicken were well-marinated and full of flavour, while the balance of herbs and spices delivered an authentic taste without overwhelming the palate. Served with cooling raita, it was a satisfying and well-balanced dish that showcased the kitchen’s attention to detail.
The attention to presentation was just as impressive as the food itself, and the relaxed atmosphere made for an enjoyable dining experience. Washed down with a cold Cobra beer, it was a memorable meal from start to finish.
Exceptional quality, authentic flavours, generous portions, and excellent service. Daata in Greystones consistently delivers outstanding Indian cuisine and is highly recommended whether you’re craving sizzling kebabs, rich curries, or a perfectly cooked biryani. I’ll definitely be back.

The first thing I noticed was the decor with old Bollywood movies and absolutely loved it. The food was excellent and somewhat authentic - a bit on the milder spice side despite asking for 'desi style'. The balochi chicken and the mango colada were really good. The service was good and the owner/manager of the restaurant was pleasant to talk to.

Here is a more polished Google Maps review that keeps your honest feedback while making it balanced and constructive:
Having previously visited both Daata Bray and Daata Blackrock regularly, I came to this visit expecting a very similar experience. Overall, it was good, but I did notice some differences, particularly in the taste of certain dishes, with the Prawn Pakora standing out as noticeably different from what I have had at the other locations.
One thing that surprised me was how quickly everything arrived. Every dish was served within 5–10 minutes of ordering. This may have been because we visited outside peak hours (we arrived around 5:20pm), or possibly because our table was booked again for 7pm and the team was trying to manage timings efficiently.
To give an idea of the speed: from entering the restaurant, ordering, receiving and finishing our food, then ordering tea and having it, and then paying the bill, we were finished before 6pm. The service was extremely efficient, but the speed did make me wonder whether some dishes were prepared in advance and reheated rather than cooked fresh to order.
The staff were friendly and the overall experience was pleasant, but compared with my previous visits to Daata Bray and Daata Blackrock, I felt the flavours and freshness were slightly different this time.

A bit disappointed with the food, expected it to be a much higher quality than the average Indian restaurant considering the high prices..
