We stayed here for five nights and had a wonderful time. I was initially worried because of the noise as I am a rather light sleeper. However, the owners of this place did everything in their power to ensure a quiet night (the sleeping rooms are located two floors above the pub and come with astonishingly well working soundproofing windows). This will of course not change the location itself. If you expect dead silence, booking a room in town centre is probably not your best choice. But it most certainly is the most quiet room you will get in such a central location and despite my worries I slept like a baby. The bed was very comfy and the shower was a dream. Siobhan and her staff were always there to help and advise or have a friendly chat.
The most remarkable thing however was that I never expected to find vegan breakfast heaven in a small Killarney B&B but Norita, this place's wonderful cook, managed to do everything right every big chain hotel I visited so far did wrong. (In my experience when a hotel says they have vegan breakfast it consists of one or maybe two vegetable spreads you will then eat for the whole of your stay, while not seldemly forgetting to mention that all their pastries contain sweet whey) Not only was there a variety of tasty vegan breakfast options - we could choose between Pancakes, French Toast, a full vegan Irish breakfast, a delicious breakfast bagel with Avocado, homemade Chili oil and roasted vegetables, porridge and toast with various toppings in addition to a buffet consisting of cereals, coffee, tea, juice, fresh fruit and vegan chocolate milk. But Norita was also the most open-minded cook a vegan could wish for. She tried many of those recipes the first time for us (you could never tell from the taste of them as they were delicious!) and met us with an honest curiosity I've always been wishing for when non vegans cooked for me. And if this wasn't already more than enough, Norita's mum made sure we did not have to lift a finger, refiiling our coffee before we even realized it was empty.
We left Killarney with very fond memories, a recipe for Norita's vegan breakfast bagle and very high expectations for every other vegan breakfast to come. Thank you!

We spent 7 nights in Killarney at Dan Linehan’s B & B. It was great! Norita was a fantastic chef that made our breakfasts everyday. She made you feel welcome. The room is small, but we were out exploring everyday. Definitely recommend staying here.

Great place to stay that is right in the middle of town. Small rooms with individual bathrooms, but more than enough for me and my husband. Comes with a 5 star breakfast that will hold you all day. Staff is very friendly!

A warm welcome when we arrived!
Really clean and great rooms.
Fantastic breakfast.
Brilliant stay for three nights with our two grown up children.
Very good location, in the very center of the town. Good pub downstairs. Comfy bed, kettle, complimentary coffee, tea, water, small snacks in the room. Inexpensive parking in front of the house (free from 17:30 to 8:30). Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
Double room is small.
