Dashi in Cork

A lovely middle ages lady helped us with a too good to go order - which is already always fantastic. She was super nice and offered a plastic bag because of the rain, then moved our boxes into one bag to make them easier to carry. Thanks Dashi!

I had the pleasure of dining at Dashi Deli Sushi & Noodle Bar, and it was an exceptional experience! The Vegetarian Ramen I ordered was absolutely delicious, with its rich flavors elevated by the unique touch of fried onion as a garnish on top. What made the experience even more special was the honor of being personally served by Chef Sharon, whose kindness and warm hospitality truly stood out. This small, cozy spot is perfect for a delightful dining experience. Highly recommend for anyone craving amazing food and a welcoming atmosphere. Thank you once again, Chef Sharon and Team, for making it memorable!

Dashi is consistently my favourite spot for casual dining in the city and also, in my opinion, the best option for takeaway food that won't leave you feeling bloated and sick. Last night I had the Pork Belly Ramen which I asked for with udon noodles and it was just so delicious! The pork was sensational, plentiful and melt in the mouth , the broth was both fragrant yet subtle, and the noodles were hearty with some texture and crunch from spring onion and peppers. This dish is €13.50 on their menu, a price you would struggle to find anywhere in Cork City centre, the ingredients were fresh and I felt nourished, satisfied, and not bloated afterwards. Great for anyone looking for good, nutritious food that you don't have to take out a second mortgage to afford. And they are on Deliveroo!

I was going to this place for years, good sushi but I tried to walk in here last year with my buggy and I was rudely told to leave because they did not accept buggy's. Yes I get it, there is not enough space but it's a shame you just lost customers who had been coming to your place for years. Could have just said hey you can't stay but can I suggest take out.... Originally I took this review down but I think it's important for other parents to know.

Just a sushi mix beautiful.....chicken Ramen ...chicken cooked to perfection....loved it

The food was lovely, I had a Japanese style chicken curry with rice. Plenty of veg and sauce in the curry, not much meat though. The service was relatively quick. The price was ok too. I couldn't help but notice that everything in the seating area, which was covered in soft cushions and throws for a cosy feel, needed a good old washing. The floors also were in need of a good steam clean / degreasing. Nice place overall, with a bit of better maintenance on the cleaning side would go a long way.

Really delicious and authentic sushi which are served in a cozy and friendly place. Enj,oed every single bite. Strongly recommend.

Dashi is probably the place I miss the most after moving away from Cork a few years ago! My memories are of super-fresh sushi and an incredibly good selection of rolls, with always a new "special of the day" to try! I have visited Dashi many times and I was never, ever disappointed.
