Dax in Dublin

The whole experience was great. Staff were fantastic, very friendly, efficient and a pleasure to be served by them. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was outstanding, the flavours were unbelievable the wine choice was good. It will be a pleasure to go again, hopefully soon. Would highly recommend a visit to sample the great food and wine.

Amazing food quality and Service

A really excellent lunch at Dax in the heart of Dublin city centre. From start to finish, everything felt thoughtful, calm and effortlessly professional. I began with the beef tartare, which was beautifully fresh and perfectly balanced — classic flavours done with confidence. The fish of the day was outstanding, cooked exactly right and served with clean, seasonal accompaniments that let the quality of the ingredients shine. Dessert was the lemon tart, sharp, light and refreshing, a great way to finish. Service was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming -we were very well looked after without ever feeling rushed. Dax continues to live up to its reputation for fine food and consistency. A fantastic spot for lunch, and one we’ll definitely return to.

Stunning restaurant. Group Christmas lunch but you wouldn’t know it from the quality of the food. Great selection and large generous portions. Excellent Christmas cheer atmosphere and superb service. Highly recommend.

An exceptional experience from the scallop appetizer to the incredibly light Valrhona chocolate dessert. An amazing wine list featuring legendary Côte Rôtie, Turque, Moulin-Landonne. Superb service, in short, a magical moment!

Loud with acoustics . Large group close by and very loud . Food was mediocre. The foos grass just too lumpy with fat. Main meal forgettable. Staff disinterested..
