Deelys Cafe in Galway

Great wee spot. Full Irish is just the right size and not hard to pay for. My partner enjoyed the veggie version. Short stay in Galway, couldn't find a non-expensive place to have a hearty meal without gimmick. This place was a lifesaver for our morning heads.

Nice cafe really love from heat

Here at deelys cafe you’re not only paying for the delicious meal, you are paying for that cozy warm atmosphere. The food is an absolute bargain and exactly what you need whether you are hungover or just happy to be there. beautiful upstairs area by the window to over look the street. My boyfriend and I came back here 3 times on our trip and we will definitely be back. Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating and you just cannot beat the atmosphere 11/10

Sneaking occasional bites from the bagel I bought from the Saturday market, I enjoyed sitting at Deely's Cafe for a bit. Outside where I could watch Galway continue it's wakeup journey, this was pleasant. And even more pleasant because none of the other diners outside decided to light up. Hooray! My flat white was excellent, served in a proper Lavazza coffee cup. Rich coffee, the right mix of milk and caffeine to start my day of exploring the area. I was sneaking because Deelys does serve breakfast. Their "Full Irish" looked good but a lot of food!

Really lovely caramel latte. Nice staff; found us seating right away, which was lucky. I noticed they grow their own herbs, too. Just one note: if you need a toilet, it's up two flights of stairs. Nice and clean!

In this place, according to my experience if you are Irish or American, they bring the coffee to your table. If you are not, they call you to collect your coffee and tea yourself. I experienced this twice when the Irish woman was at the counter. Today was the second time. Disgusting.

Mocha was one of the best and the chocolate hazelnut cake was delicious. Staff were a bit awkward at times but polite sometimes. I don't think they meant to be awkward. But the main thing is the food which I still enjoyed a lot. More than I thought I would. There I recommend this place.

Was searching for a healthy and fast breakfast option and was grateful to wander in Deely’s for a quiet morning coffee, omelette with spinach, feta, and roasted peppers and toast. The omelette was perfectly cooked. The staff was friendly and didn’t mind my sitting for a bit so I went back a second time! Thank you!

Service was prompt and the Irish breakfast and sandwich we had were fine - and the coffee was pretty strong which I appreciated. They indeed don’t provide tap water, which is unusual, but we can live without this (more of a restaurant kind of thing) were quite satisfied. Prices very reasonable.
