Lovely spot, Savage homemade treats, in all seriousness though, 4.25 for a cappuccino, you can get one for 3 euro in salthill Galway.

Came off the M7 for a pit stop and glad I took the detour. Super home cooked brekkie in nice cafe Restaraunt, with all the trimmings and great coffee. Beside a car park at the Killaloe end of the now pedestrianised bridge.

Excellent location and friendly staff, delicious breakfast with generous portions. We traveled with children and the service was excellent; the staff even provided toys for my daughters.

20/06/2026: We stopped in to visit with the pub greeter, Tiny, who by all appearances is the Mayor of this fine village! ☘️☺️ Very friendly greeting by the owner, patrons, and dogs!
20/06/2026: Best pub in the area. Great beer selection and wonderful owners who will share a wealth of knowledge. Everyone is welcome. The locals are lovely and so kind. You are safe and looked after here, I promise. Take the weight off your feet, order a pint and chill out. Very clean, traditional, pub with a great pool table. Lots of parking opposite and big TV screens. It’s dog friendly also which is fantastic.
