Diamond Rocks Cafe in Kilkee

Fantastic location, food was plentiful and delicious, views are incredible and plenty of parking. The Diamond Rocks Cafe is well worth a visit. Staff were attentive, very helpful and polite. Spacious restaurant with huge windows so you can enjoy the view whilst you tuck into the delicious menu. We really enjoyed the food and cake and left feeling full. We then took a walk along the costal path to walk of our lunch enjoying the fresh sea air. If you are in Clare pay the Diamond Rocks Cafe a visit. We will be visiting again 👍

2025 update: big renewal! Incredible views to the kilkee bay. The place changed its traditional style for a much more modern look and environment. It's larger, more light thanks for the big windows, and again, the views are unmatched. Recommend stopping here after a cliff walk.

What a lovely place. Large portions of fresh hot chips. Our 9 year old said they were the best chicken tenders she’d ever eaten. But the clincher was when Margaret register mailed my cousins credit card back to her. Such kindness and generosity. Maith thú Margaret.

The walk along the cliff is beautiful, well paved footpath. You can park your car in the parking lot at the site. (Paid) The Café can be very busy, we turned around because of the crowds.

We stopped by Diamond Rocks Cafe for a bit of breakfast as we heard so many good reviews about this place. We ordered a cream cheese with bacon and breakfast bap and unfortunately we were waiting over 30 minutes for our food. The service was very poor. A lot of young staff who didn't seem to know the table numbers yet and lot of food served one plate at a time. My husband got his but then I was waiting a further 15 minutes for mine. Seen 1 staff member bringing a bagel out but served it to the wrong table. I had realised it was prob mine and then 5 minutes later it came out but the bagel was cold and looks like been lying in the kitchen for awhile. Felt like a senior manager should have been present today especially on a bank holiday as the young staff looked a bit under pressure. Food is lovely. The bagel was cold and you didn't get any side salad or that with it. I just think it was 1 bad day and they are not long reopened so I will go back again to give it a go cos it's located in a beautiful location. Just staff training is needed also.

The food here was super tasty and the view was stunning outlooking the cliffs and sea, with floor to ceiling windows. The service was efficient and works well.

We had our wedding there last weekend and we are still overjoyed with the day and everything about the Diamond Rocks. From the first day we made contact with the Diamond Rocks team, over a year ago, until now it was an absolute pleasure to deal with them. Nothing was a problem and everything was possible. We felt so welcome as the first couple in the new venue. The Diamond Rocks team, specially Margaret, Nadine and Kevin made our dreams come true. Nothing could have prepared us, how beautiful the venue looked on the day, the views were breathtaking. The food was delicious and the way it was presented, was completely unique, specially the dessert, which was presented like an afternoon tea. The service was flawless, every single guest complimented the venue, the food, the service and enjoyed the warm welcome from the Diamond Rocks team. The value for money was outstanding. The views are priceless. This is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Ireland. We still can't believe, we celebrated our special day in our favorite place in the world. We couldn't ask for any better, it was perfect , every single moment. We wish the Diamond Rocks team every success. We know there will be many weddings to come.
