12/08/2026: Got 5 pizzas today on the wednesday offer, the wait time was quite hefty but its understandable as there was a lot of people. The lad at the counter was very professional and calm despite some other customers showing attitude. Good food is worth a good wait however 🙏. Will be back soon

24/04/2026: Caesar salad was not worth the price. Seafood chowder was good. Cash only when we were there for lunch, their machine was broken - wish they had told us before we sat, never a good surprise.

21/07/2026: I was at the Stella Maris tonight and to say it was disappointing is an understatement. A party of 7 (2 paying adults though) and the food selection was nothing extravagant. Chicken and chips 🍟 (3 adults), lasagne (adult 4) and 3 kids meals. €11 for the roast breast but for an adult the same chicken is €18. Out comes the serving and the chicken is very lonely on the plate. Nothing else initially but then comes "sides" of chips. Not a mains portion in my opinion. You'd pay €6 less per head elsewhere such as Naughtons Yard and equally as good there. To describe it was a rip off is apt as it was nearly €20 (for 4 of the party of 7) more expensive than an alternative which was better for 5 of the party of 7 the night before. Never again will I go there for food. As I stated to the barman (give a customer value and they come back. Exploit them and you lose far more custom long term. He was offended I might just tell him give customers value for money through better portions or reduce the prices.

26/08/2026: Had breakfast here with family,tried about 4 diffrent things from the menu.Food was good but definitely a little space for improvement,the salmon and creme cheese crepes need work,very bland they breakfast bap also lacking a little.Full irish was good.Served by a younger fella who was friendly.

18/08/2026: Went here with my husband who was in a mobility scooter couldn't get in the door it was too tight. We asked could we have our food at the tables outside, we were told they don't serve food outside. Not very wheelchair/ mobility scooter friendly.

04/08/2026: The food is good, though overpriced (vs Dublin)…The opening hours are limited, and often take away only…Paper Cups at all times is poor form, along with disposable containers for eat in food … No Thanks …

17/07/2026: I ordered a steak medium well and it came out burnt. I asked to speak to the manager a person called Paddy came out and was extremely rude. My God I never meet a person to act so rude to the paying costumer needs to get a different job because do not know how to work in a restaurant do not go ther if you want good food and service that you are paying for paddy thinks you’re getting it for free

12/07/2026: Staff where very nice food was ok but the owner an old guy extremely rude me and my family had our food and desserts and my baby would not eat anything there because she is allergic to fish so I went and got her a takeaway baby pizza as we were leaving and I was waiting for my mum to come out of the bathroom the owner told me to go out and eat the pizza in the road and leave right now i was extremely embarrassed Iam 9 mouths pregnant we were finished our food payed him over 200€ I was just waiting for my mum . Do not go to this restaurant if you have kids because they do not like kids
