The Pantry in Kilkee

Convenient little spot in Kilkee. Coffee’s, sandwiches all great!

Nice place. Very clean. Facilities well maintained and in good working order. We had scones, they were huge and tasted delicious. The coffee tasted good too but I think I confused the girl serving us by asking for a 'white coffee' - I should have asked for a flat white! Either way, we had a lovely hour sitting chatting eating our tasty scones. Will definitely return.

Scones and carrot cake were delicious. Staff was very friendly. Can only recommend.

Nothing wrong with the service or the staff. No soup which is ok people can run out. My OG sandwich was ok and pleasant enough but nothing special. My wife’s BLT had way too much cheap mayo and was lacking the tomatoes and had limp lettuce. At these prices I expect better. Also agree with others that in this day and age we should have china cups and no disposables unless a take out. Could have been great but was just ok.

Lovely coffee & delicious scone! Too bad they do only take away cups, even when you sit in.. We should protect nature and especially the beautiful Kilkee coast. Please change to reusable cups.

Fresh pastries and polite service

The food is good, though overpriced (vs Dublin)…The opening hours are limited, and often take away only…Paper Cups at all times is poor form, along with disposable containers for eat in food … No Thanks …

Food was delicious. Restaurant clean. Staff very attentive and very polite. We were there early in the morning. Found a table inside without a problem. No food menus on tables. Menus left beside the till?? Nearly left as thought it was drinks only. Asked a member of staff if there was a place nearby that did sandwiches, :-). The staff member then directed us to where the menus were. Great sandwiches we had. Tea, was in a paper cup?? Should be a cup or mug if sitting down? €3.20 for a cup of Barry's tea ! Outrageous!!! It's a tea bag and hot water ! Lost a star for that. Greedy. Seemed busy for coffee take away. You can eat outside. But it is on the High Street with a constant flow of slow moving traffic. We really enjoyed our sandwiches, good presentation. Nice coleslaw and greens on a nice lightly toasted gluton free sourdough. Well done to the kitchen staff. Tea cost and presentation for eating in??

Below expectations. Flat-white from the machine and in a paper cup, croissant of moderate quality, dirty terrace floor.

Fresh squeezed orange juice, great coffee and the bakery is top notch. Scones are the absolute best! Do yourself a favour and give this place a try.
