A nod to the old while modernly comfortable. Highly recommend the fish & chips (especially if you're hungry), and the Guinness chocolate cake and apple pie are savage!

30/09/2023: Used be far better than it is now, I’m glad the carrot cake hasn’t elapsed in quality but there’s not much else would draw me in here. Still go here regularly on my visits but the place looks and feels incredibly different this year than what most people know the pantry for

01/04/2024: Nice clean room. Great location. Great for short stay. Food very good in restaurant.

01/04/2024: We had a family dinner there after visiting Loop Head. Decent food, nice setting, kids friendly. Nice garden they have in the backyard, although we stayed indoors. I recommend this place. Not sure about the hotel part, we just ate there when passing through Kilkee.
