" Satisfying the truly hungry in Cork Since 1970" may be change that you can't satisfy my hunger except you give me a bigger portion size next time. Lolz. Also wondering what do you do with the leftovers as I hate food being wasted. Thank you for the hospitality. Nice staff but plz do review your portion size because nothing can help me with hunger.Giving you 5 stars because of my first post dinner after a breakup. Xxx

My food was a good. The chips were delicious and the service was fast despite it being a busy time. However, I did notice that the manager argues a lot with the restaurant staff.

The food was good chips were lovely and the battered sausage and pie really nice 5/5 .. My only complaint was that the place was almost empty and the tables were not cleaned it was after lunch so not busy had to kick chips away from under table before we sat down also smell coming from toilets.Staff need to get on top of the cleaning.

The Old Town Taqueria

29/10/2025: Second time here and it's just such a fun place to go! My friend's absolute go-to for when she has visitors and I completely get why! In the summer they open the front window and you get a nice breeze. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great.
23/09/2025: This would have got 5 from me but the recent price increases and the strange photos which are definitely not accurate from the business here bring it down to 3. The menu for 2 Tacos and 1 drink say €16, but we were charged €17. Most other prices have increased too, so we won't go here as much as we previously did. Food is nice here. But there aren't many seats inside. I don't know why they have photos of comfy couchesunless you can order these in the bar next door?
