We ate in the George’s Street restaurant, while the food is quite nice and full of flavour,it was disappointing to notice how people are treated differently in there. We have received takeaway from them before and were so impressed by what we received we decided to eat in the restaurant this evening.
The service was ok,definitely not as friendly as previous visits when we collected our take away.I was told by some people that they received a free drink after dinner that was supposed to be a lovely gesture towards their customers.
Unfortunately we spent €61 just for the two of us and received no free drink or coffee etc afterwards. The couple at the table beside us did,and also some new customers at the back of us.The table beside us of 4 people also mentioned how disappointed they were that they received nothing either, considering they too spent quite a large amount of money. The lady said when she visited previously that she too received a free shot after her meal.
The same person served all the tables so I don’t understand the concept as to why some receive and others don’t?Otherwise I won’t take away from the fact that the food is really tasty but they need to treat all customers equal if they are to continue getting repeat custom.

The paneer tikka masala was delicious. The onion bhaji didn’t travel that well, but the garlic naan was delicious. Highly recommend the paneer tikka masala, would definitely order this again. Poppadoms were also given free which was great.

Wow, what a find! Diwali, tucked away next to Dublin Business School, totally blew us away. My wife & I stumbled in this evening, hungry after work, and boy were we in for a treat!
The place was buzzing, which is always a good sign. We started with the Cheese Malai Chicken Tikka - so tender and juicy, it melted in our mouths. But the real star was the mixed sizzler. Talk about a flavor explosion! The tandoori chicken was spot on, with just the right blend of spices that transported us straight to the streets of Delhi. And those handmade samosas? Crispy perfection!
We also tried the daal and aloo gobi, which honestly tasted just like my grandma's cooking back in India. Fresh, comforting, and oh-so-delicious. The owner even came by our table to check if everything was okay - such a nice touch!
For €80 for a couple, we left with happy tummies and big smiles. It's not the cheapest, but for the quality and quantity in the heart of Dublin? Totally worth it.
If you're after genuine Indian flavors that don't hold back on spice and authenticity, Diwali is your spot. We're already planning our next visit to try more from their menu. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!

Best curry I've ever eaten (and I'm a well travelled self proclaimed curry connoisseur).
Fresh, delicious, packed full of flavour. Friendly staff, worth a slight wait due to it being thr Dublin Marathon so very busy.

I had the Saturday “feast” it’s a two course early bird for around €27 or €28. I had a lamb kabab and a chicken tikka masala with rice. There was a lot of sauce and not enough rice to soak up the sauce. A naan would be great but there no gluten free bread.
Over all I had a nice meal there are lots of gluten free options and I would go back. It’s a pretty typical Indian restaurant. They did offer a complimentary shot with the bill which I have never been offered in Dublin before. A nice little touch.
