Buzzy friendly atmosphere, Chowder fab, full of fresh fish and mussels. The small bowl is a very generous helping!
Traditional Sunday Roasts looked great with big portions too.

I used to live across the road from here and always make a point of getting dinner or lunch when I'm back up that end of the country. It's more focused on being a full restaurant these days and the bar closes early but food and pints are always spot on
We booked a table for 7pm and didn't get seated until 7.45pm. We did place our order at the bar. My husband is gluten intolerant and there wasn't great choice for him. My friends all enjoyed there meals but my chicken burger was creamated. The deserts were gorgeous I personal recommended the chocolate Éclair absolutely to die for. The staff where extremely friendly and had good craic
We (three of us) were just between the breakfast and lunch services so went with the Light Bites. Our portions were very generous and the food was of the highest quality.
Equally as important was the service which was attentive without being suffocating. More establishments need to learn how to master this much appreciated skill.

Service was fast and super attentive the whole meal was so good and we didn't have to ask for anything all the condiments were on the table along with a jug of fresh iced water
Will definitely go again.
A little music in the background would have been nice and the steak was just a pinch to expensive but it didn't put us off .
