My 2rd time at the restaurant...
Food was nice, edible, but wasn't enough on the plate for adults! When we finished our plates a waitress came over can I get you anymore spuds or veg.. at that stage plates were taken away or empty??
That was disappointing 😞
It was a communion last Saturday.
I actually got a chippy takeaway on way home... ?

There is a lack of consistency particularly with the breakfast, coffees and customer service. Better consistency with the carvery, however, after last breakfast experience I won't be planning a return anytime soon. One positive is Ann, a lovely staff member who always is so welcoming, professional and kind. The stars are mainly for her and she deserves five stars.
Had Sunday dinner. Portion sizes could have been bigger. Very small jug of gravy and no stuffing with the turkey and ham. Requested a desert twice and it still didn’t arrive. Restaurant was very clean, staff lovely, nice atmosphere. Wouldn’t take much for me to have given it 5 stars.
The service is simple outstanding from the duty/floor manager to the staff. Food is reasonably priced for the quality. The place is a little old fashioned but still very comfortable.
A brilliant establishment, food 5 star, staff very welcoming. All around great place ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wait time longer than usual as it Easter Sunday but staff showed our party to comfortable seating in the lounge area whilst we waited.
