Doppio Café & Restaurant in Kilkenny

Have had the pleasure of eating here twice over a few days. Brunch/Breakfast on a busy Saturday... pancakes excellent with bacon and maple syrup. And a kids portion of Nutella pancakes all went down a treat We had beetroot and avocado toast which was lovely could have eaten more. Was nearby for lunch on a second occasion and the food didn't disappoint. Burger and fries where tasty. Kids sliders and chips went down a treat. Missed out on dessert as it was closing time. Coffee was good. Both occasions staff where very nice and friendly service was quick. Will be back!

Had the most amazing birthday breakfast for my wife at Doppio’s and couldn’t fault a single thing. The staff were warm, welcoming, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and special. We ordered the full Irish and the blueberry pancakes both were absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked, great quality ingredients, and full of flavour. The pancakes especially were a real hit fluffy, fresh, and packed with blueberries! I’ve also had lunch here in the past, and the steak sandwich still stands out as one of the best I’ve ever had served on a rustic baguette, packed with flavour, and cooked just right. Consistently great food, lovely atmosphere, and fantastic service. Highly recommend Doppio’s it’s a gem! 👏🍳🥩🫐

Love this place food , drinks , coffee is excellent. Kids love it too. Great seating and plenty of room. Highly recommend it.

Very good service the chefs are top class food excellent couldn't fault

I am giving a 3 star just because the food is really good, staff is friendly when they FINALLY get to you, but it’s take ages to get someone to look after you. Arrived at 10:00 AM got straight a place to seat, but then… only at 10:37 someone came to check if we need anything, I tried contact a few times, but completely ignored. At the end just got a take away cappuccino because completely lost the wheel to eat anything. It makes the experience very poor. At least the Cappuccino was brilliant!!!

I loved the Salmon, it was perfectly cooked, the whole plate was delicious. Also we tried the avocado toast, Fantastic. For desserts the pancakes and the panacota were amazing, great flavour. Really we enjoyed it so much, thank you!

The food was alright, but was a bit pricey and took far too long to be sent out, to the point it was cold. The vibe was great but not amazing, still good. Not sure if id recommend, but it's decent food.

Came here for breakfast on a Saturday & Doppio didn't disappoint! Full Irish breakfast was delicious & the staff were very friendly.
