Downings Bay Hotel in Cnoc na muirleog

While we did not stay at the downings bay, we ate there. It was absolutely delicious. 2 adults and a toddler. 3 courses for 29.50 euro which was their thursday supper club menu, with a glass of wine included. Really tasty, serving sizes spot-on, quick service and really attentive staff. I had crab claws to start, duck main, lemon tartlet. Would definitely return.

This is a superb hotel with large clean rooms, top class food, top class service and I would jump at the chance to stay here again. I hope to get back again soon. The location and surrounding area is beautiful and a visit to Portsalon a must. They could not do enough for us in the hotel and we got 5 star treatment all the week. 10/10.

Room is comfy and clean. Breakfast & dinner is good.
