The best restaurants in Cnoc na muirleog

20/02/2024: It is astonishingly difficult to get fish n'chips at lunch time in this area during the off season. The Galley being the welcome exception. Service was a bit slow, but it was busy.

13/02/2024: Great service, very reasonable price We had a burger and an open prawn sandwich, both were very good. Would definitely call again.

30/03/2024: Tiny little spot attached to The Harbour Bar. Drove out from Letterkenny for lunch & there was already a small queue before they opened. There’s only five tables inside, but food can be eaten outside, and I also believe it can be brought into the bar. We ordered three oysters, one fish taco, and the mussels. Oysters we’re some of the best I’ve ever had, served with a chili granita. So creamy and no grittiness. My dad was tempted by the prawn bao, but opted for the fish taco, & said it was a winner. Perfectly cooked battered fish, slaw, spicy mayo & pico de gallo. Mussels came in a tomatoey sauce, along with a portion of perfect chips. Unfortunately I was only allowed a small sample before dad reminded me that it was his lunch, not mine. Only wine is served in Fisk, but soft drinks, beer etc can be bought in the bar and brought in. One americano to finish, and our bill came to €28.00. Staff were all absolutely lovely and despite how busy it was, service was prompt and efficient. An absolutely fab spot, and one I hope to go back to soon.

11/01/2024: The best seafood in all of Ireland, cannot recommend this place enough and it is an absolute must if visiting this part of the country.

03/04/2024: Wonderful reception+ bar area. Let down by it's anti doggie policy, which In a beach / tourist location is quite odd!

05/02/2024: We were camping near by and stopped for lunch and when we first walked in tbere was a sign outside saying cash only which should have been our first bad sign. Secondly, when my child opened the bottle of ketchup it exploded all over her leggings. Thirdly, my other child had ordered Goujons and chips and they tasted like soap. Lastly my wife's butter for her bread looked like it had been partly used and then wrapped back up. We will NEVER be coming back again.

16/10/2023: No accommodation available due to Ukrainian residents, nevertheless bar & food service/quality is unquestionable. Mairead - the host - made it a very pleasant experience!
