Stayed in downing Bay hotel along with 40+ other golfers on 4th June 2026 .. what a fabulous hotel very friendly and helpful staff nothing was any bother for them. Rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean would highly recommend this to anyone looking a wee break away . Will definitely return

22/08/2026: Lovely staff and great food selection which was served fast.
05/08/2026: Lovely food, great staff, and usually a brilliant experience. Iā€™ve eaten here a few times now and the food is always really lovely. The staff are nice, friendly, and welcoming, which makes the whole visit feel relaxed. If I had one small piece of feedback, it would be the kidsā€™ burger ā€” the meat just wasnā€™t great on this visit. But every other time Iā€™ve eaten here, the food has been spotā€‘on. The pizzas have always been delicious, and I absolutely love the breakfast baps, especially with the fresh brioche buns. Overall, itā€™s a place Iā€™m happy to come back to, and with just a tiny tweak to the kidsā€™ burger, it would be perfect.

Beach Hotel

16/06/2026: The beach hotel is a great spot to stay at in Downings. I stayed here with a few friends and we were very impressed. The rooms were extremely clean, comfortable and held to a very high standard. All the staff throughout the hotel were brilliant. Amy at reception, all the bar staff right through to the night porter all had us well looked after. You couldn't go wrong with this hotel, thanks all!
02/06/2026: Had a family dinner here and food was delicious and staff where very attentive. Best turkey and ham we have had in a long time. Would of been 5 star only we didn't get to sample the cheesecake as they have ran out! Will be back.
