We had a fantastic experience with DUNES BAR & BISTRO AT INCHYDONEY ISLAND LODGE & SPA. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming ( espescially Sinead), and the service was quick without feeling rushed. The food was absolutely delicious – the Irish chowder was excellent, but the real highlight was the soda bread served with it… honestly the best! The desserts were also amazing and the perfect way to finish the meal. This wasn’t our first visit, and it definitely won’t be our last. Highly recommended!

Had a lovely lunch here after a stunning walk along the beach during low tide. Lots of large windows and a lovely, comfortable bar and restaurant space within the hotel. I had the crab claws (for the first time) and they were very tasty. The side salad and chips that came with it was also yummy. My friends had the pulled pork tacos and really enjoyed them. Would recommend!

The Hound at Hunter's Yard Mount Juliet Estate

02/02/2026: Our stay at Mount Juliet was made even more memorable by several meals at The Hound, and it truly did not disappoint. From appetizers to mains and desserts, every dish we had across multiple lunches and dinners was extremely good. We also enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea; even though the weather kept us from the outside terrace, the staff were so attentive and ensured we were perfectly taken care of indoors. It was a flawless dining experience that has me already looking forward to my next staycation!
01/01/2026: It was my birthday dinner. The atmosphere and food were fantastic. I'd gladly come again.

23/01/2026: Went in today to get some sandwiches to go for lunch. Was an exceptional experience thanks to Chris, who made our food, and made our day. He was attentive, careful and friendly. A true artist. Will be going back and would definitely recommend a sandwich by Chris.
