Relaxed vibes with luxury treatment. The staff are excellent, professional, and attentive. The only down side to the menu is that I am not local so I can’t try it all. Each dish’s flavor profiles were married so exquisitely. Each bite made lasting memories as I savored every last crumb. This restaurant has set a new standard for me.

Service was great, food was good, but overall was too salty and the wine while delicious, was not cold enough. Not good enough for the prices.

Dining at Ean was delightful. It has a relaxing, fine dining vibe. Our server was friendly and well versed in the menu and helped us pick out a few dishes as well as make suggestions for wine. The small plates are great for sharing and are brought to the table when prepared. It was a nice flow and we didn’t feel hurried. We had the mackerel in a the most delicious dill sauce, mushroom and leeks in a nice sauce, yummy sourdough and venison which was superb. This dinner was gifted to us from a friend and was definitely a memorable experience. Highly recommend when in Galway, Ireland!

Fantastic Restaurant! Food was amazing and the selection of wines was just as good, and it's nice to have the choice of some natural and Orange wines by the glass. We will definitely be coming back.

On the expensive side, but worth every penny. Each of the 6 dishes we ordered were thoughtfully crafted and really elevated.

The Steak Tartar here was the best I've ever had and the squid toast was a second favorite. Also the lamb is worth mentioning as very noteworthy.

4.5 stars! Walked in for Saturday lunch and was seated right away (to my surprise!). Menu is small but interesting. Had the haddock katsu sandwich (good) with a glass of rosé (perfect, nice and dry), and the barley mousse for dessert (delicious!!!! Unusual flavours --in the best way-- and not too sweet). Cozy atmosphere. Service was okay, all staff were very nice and friendly but service was a bit erratic overall.

Very tasty, but for that price, far too little.

Beef & Lobster

06/01/2026: First impressions: My Girlfriend and I had dinner in Beef and Lobster whilst I visited Galway. On entering the property the restaurant wasn't exactly stand out in terms of décor, its very basic. Service: I made a reservation online using the website for 18:00. Upon arrival we were greeted promptly and shown to our table which was ready for us. Once sat, we were offered the drinks menu and offered a bottle of water for the table. Although not on the menu we opted for a mocktail "pornstar Martini" as the waitress suggested they could accommodate that. Service, food and drink delivery was very prompt. Food: Drink: We both opted for the "pornstar martini" mocktail which Looked great on arrival, garnished with a passionfruit. It was a good mocktail, close to the real thing, but more like just a passionfruit drink instead of a passion fruit martini, It lacked any vanilla. Starters: For starter we had the Pork belly and the surf and turf tacos. The pork was cooked well and tasted delicious paired with the accompanying sauce. The surf and turf tacos, although presentation was a little underwhelming tasted really good. Mains: For main course we ordered a 16oz bone in ribeye and a surf and turf with prawns. The 16oz ribeye was ordered rare, it arrive well cooked however the quality of the meat was not great, very tough and difficult to cut even with a steak knife. The striploin served with the surf and turf however was a beautiful piece of meat, cooked perfectly rare. a nice serving of prawns in garlic butter to accompany, not to my tasting however my girlfriend enjoyed them. For sides we opted for three for 15.75 : rocket salad with balsamic and parmesan - good sized portion and tasted great garlic baguette - baguette was sliced and covered in garlic, however the slices were not opened and garlic inside, it was mainly over the top of the baguette which was disappointing, and parmesan and truffle fries - crispy fries and tasted good. Deserts: Atmosphere: The restaurant was quite with a few tables around. the décor was underwhelming and not really inspiring. there seemed to be no real theme to the restaurant décor. On a Friday night there was no real atmosphere, it felt less like a restaurant and more like a café people were grabbing a quick bite. Final notes: I'm glad I have tried it, it wasn't bad, however I probably wont rush back as I'm sure there are better steak options elsewhere in the area.
03/01/2026: It left something to be desired… the taste was there, but the portions were lacking. You'll have to pay €6 to have fries on your side. The final bill was high. On the other hand, the build-your-own cheesecake was fantastic.
