Eastern Tandoori in Galway

Very tasty food and all my Working colleagues loved it. Portion size is quite big for one person and it was for every dish we ordered

I moved away from Galway to the states in 2018 - before then, I frequented Eastern Tandoori a couple times, and ordered it for a takeaway fairly often. I haven’t had their food in 7 years but I still think about it. To this day, it is the BEST lamb korma I’ve ever had and I compare every Indian restaurant I go to (even if a new place is amazing in its own way, it’s simply not as good). Just wanted to say that your food lives fondly in your customers’ memories even years later. **I’m dead sober btw, just really love Indian food.

We ordered the chicken jalfrezi, beef madras, onion bhaji's, onion naan and prawn puri. We ate every last bite! The food was so tasty and piping hot plus we got a poppadom with dips free. Will most definitely be back here 🤩 (takeaway collection)

We loved our delicious dinner surrounded by their fascinating decor. The food had delicious flavour with just the right amount of spice. The service was prompt, friendly and courteous. I’d go back in a heartbeat! Thank you.

Pretty average Indian food. Butter chicken very mild with little flavour. Jumbo prawn balti was nice. Dips for poppadums artificial. Pilau rice artificial. Bathrooms very poor and outdated, have carpet all over. Not a bad place for the price.

We may not have been able to visit the Spanish Arch but we did manage to experience one of the best places in Galway. Whether it’s butter chicken or lamb biryani East Tandoori will supply you with a fantastic dinner.

I find the quality of meat top notch. Flavours are good . I’ve been eating here for years and I can’t remember a meal I didn’t enjoy. I would miss them if they were gone :)
