Me and my family had our lunch here on Thursday and we enjoyed the food especially my son who unfortunately forgot his table manners and gave a loud burp to which the staff said while laughing "compliments to the chef". I really enjoyed the Lasagne and my wife had the same experience with the Prawn starter. Thanks a lot for the food and we will be back soon.

01/04/2024: I ordered through the app .I got the kebab which actually is probably the best in portalington. It tastes quite fresh . Also got the Taco cheese chips which were okay . The mince tasted a little bit watery ,still would choose supermacs ones over this one but it was a good and was a large portion . The battered sausage was a let down . I think there was 5% batter and 95% sausage ,honestly tasted like normal shop sausage too but won't complain for the price. The milkshake is a must have though . Definitely recommend the milkshakes . Tastes lovely,I got the Nutella one and it tasted lovely . The wait time said it would be 15 minutes but actually was about 30 minutes . Didn't try the pizza but will next time

Hummingbird Cafe

01/01/2024: Was down in Portarlington the other day n was looking for a coffee so decidedcto check out this place post recommendation from friend. Loved the place moment i went in - really friendly welcome. Lovely cosy athmosphere n while i only got a sit in coffee, tea n cake the menu looks good. Judging by amount of people there it is popular and prices reasonable. Parked down in park n only 5 minute walk from restaurant. Definitely recommed and will go back 👍
