El Grito in Dublin

A lovely out of the way restaurant, food was fresh and the service was swift , it isn't one of those big fancy chains but very authentic Mexican restaurant

This place is the definition of “hidden gem.” Of course the food is absolutely delicious. It’s most likely the most affordable tacos in Dublin - 4 for €12. When dining at El Grito, you get no less than 4 kinds of unlimited free salsas, from mild to extra spicy. I couldn’t believe how kind the staff was to my partner and myself, even though we got to the restaurant past 9pm on a bank holiday… For me this is a huge incentive to come back. Being welcomed by a host at the entrance made me feel so special. Yet my partner and I were able to have a full dinner with water for €24 total - unbelievably good price. The restaurant’s décor is SO detailed, it makes for an immersive experience. Next time I’ll go, I’m dying to try the Michelada. I cannot recommend El Grito enough. Go, go, go!

I loved the atmosphere of the place, very Mexican, 10/10. The food was good and the delivery was fast. I ordered chilaquiles with chicken and chorizo, as well as churros, and everything was delicious. It wasn't the typical salsa I'm used to with chilaquiles, but it was still good. I highly recommend the horchata water, 100/10. I could go back again just for the water 😋

Food was great!! chips weren’t as warm

We tried the Tacos with chilli con carne, Alambre with barbacoa beef, and Burrito with Mexican beef; all were delicious! The sauces were spot on, nice and spicy. The restaurant feels so cozy and genuinely Mexican. Perfect spot for good food and good vibes!

As always, the waiters are lovely, and the food is delicious. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, and hours pass by eating and sipping cocktails. I've been there several times over the years and will continue to recommend it.

Food is delicious, highly recommend the burrito bowl, horchata and churros. Very filling & good value. I've only been here twice and plan to come back again to try the rest of the menu. Nice ambiance for just a chill night out / after work meal / birthdays.

El restaurante estaba convenientemente ubicado en el centro de la ciudad. Los asientos eran estrechos, lo que creaba un ambiente ruidoso e incómodo. La camarera fue servicial y conocedora. Sin embargo, los pedidos se mezclaron y llegaron en horarios distintos a los de otros camareros. La margarita POG fue interesante. Tienes que comprar los chips y la salsa incluso cuando compraste guacamole que no incluía salsa. La comida era muy promedio, estilo mexicano americano.

Pedí el bol de burrito con tofu. ¡El tofu estaba muy extrañamente marinado con especias indias! Aunque no fue horrible, no fue exactamente una buena combinación para los otros sabores mexicanos. No voy a volver a ordenar. El guacamole era excelente, sin embargo, al igual que el mole burrito de nuestro amigo.
