Very good food in a nice location. Polite staff.

Looking for a more traditional eatery, we first tried the restaurant next door, but ended up at the Elephant. Its reputation is clearly based on its chicken wings, which are ordered and consumed in large quantities. There's little traditional on the menu, although the restaurant, with its wood-accented furnishings, exudes a vintage atmosphere. Friendly locals and an equally friendly waiter then confirmed: a bit loud, but a good choice. We had burgers and fries. You can get them anywhere, but we found them exceptionally well prepared here. Even a burger needs care and love. Drink prices in Temple Bar are currently through the roof, but here they were pleasantly moderate. By Dublin standards. We can thoroughly recommend the restaurant.

Great service and food, Wicklow Wolf elevation went down really easy!

We were recommend this restaurant by our hotel staff. We were a party of 11 (7 adults and 4 kids) and the restaurant managed to squeeze us in at short notice. We were recommend the chicken wings by the hotel staff and honestly they were amazing. We also had the Elephant Burger and Fish and Chips, both were brilliant! The staff all had "banter" and were really engaging. The wine, Guinness and food all being excellent. We had a fabulous night and would certainly go again if we ever visit Dublin in the future.

The burger and ribs were fantastic but what really made the visit special was the friendly and welcoming service from Sanja from Croatia. Service like that is what really makes the difference. Hvala and GRMA!

Wings are outstanding! Ice cream desserts were a favorite. The service was good also. We were in Dublin for 9 days and visited hete twice.

Great lunch find on a busy Saturday - good fast service , delicious food - seafood chowder the best - we’ll be back ……………..
