Ely Wine Bar in Dublin

I celebrated my 40th birthday in the private dining room upstairs. It was absolutely perfect for an intimate party, with wonderful service, great food and beautiful wines. The cocktails were delicious too. I would highly recommend Ely for a special occasion.

Enjoyed a fantastic evening here when we booked a wine pairing experience with a number of stunning plates of food. A great way to spend a Wednesday evening. Service was impressive with extensive wine knowledge. Will be returning!!

We had a really lovely time here last night for our 6 year anniversary. Relaxed, soficitcated atmosphere. Great service. Food and wine were very nice. Only feedback - burger was a little difficult to eat. It kept coming apart as I bit into it so I ate it with a knife and fork. It was delicious though!

Lovely place! We came for dinner with friends. Upstairs it has more of a formal vibe and downstairs more of an intimate atmosphere (I think would be very nice for a date) we had sharing board with Irish ham and cheese, perfect for sharing (we were 4). I had rib eye steak, it was okay, I bit too well done and so a bit chewy and not rare as I requested. The lamb was very very good and the burger was nice too . Must try their polenta chips! Great wine selection. Great atmosphere and staff is very nice and knowledgeable.

Myself and Stephen would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Caroline and all of the team for taking care of us for our wedding 2 weeks ago. Caroline was so accommodating, so helpful and such a joy to work with. We had our wedding in the stunning dining room where we enjoyed a beautiful meal and delicious wine for 30 of our closest family and freinds. Excellent food, impeccable service and beautiful atmosphere which made our day eve more special - my only regret is that we weren't there for longer 🤣 Thankyou all so much for making our day so wonderful. We couldn't recommend Ely enough and we can't wait to come visit you guys soon 🥰 Ely will always have a special place in our hearts. Love Holly & Stephen.

Made a last minute reservation last Saturday night to eat a quick bite before going to a leaving party. I had 2 starters and some bread, my husband had the burger. The choice of wine is fabulous, loads available by the glass but I opted for a cocktail which was lovely. Sometimes hard to catch the eye of the server but all in all we had lovely food and drinks. Will be back for sure.

Have been enjoying Ely wine tastings for several years now and this week’s Chianti Classico Winemaker Dinner with Marco Ricasoli did not disappoint. Great wine, delicious food complimented by interesting knowledge and fascinating conversation that flows at the table. A really nice night out with friends and also a nice way for those on their own that don’t want too dine alone.
