Bullet points- Good atmosphere, good service, fair portion and very tasty, reasonable prices I just hate places that include a mandatory tip in the bill and we had to correct them on 2 mistakes on the bill so... We were with a party at €65 per head (non inclusive of drinks) but it worked out at €9 extra per person for the tip which wasn't communicated during the booking

got a chicken blaa and almond croissant plus coffee and hot chocolate for myself and my daughter. very nice place,chilled atmosphere, friendly staff, food and drinks were served quickly and quality was excellent. price reasonable. will be back!

I love Ely wine store and restaurant. However our main courses were delivered too cold to our table on out last visit. They did replace one of the dishes that we sent back to the kitchen and were apologetic, but it does have a negative effect on the experience, especially when spending so much on a dinner date. I'd recommend Ely highly and it was only one bad experience out of several wonderful nights out there.

02/02/2025: Spectacular place. The sandwiches here are heavenly. The bread was fresh and the ham was proper cooked gammon. I ordered the sandwich with the soup and it was genuinely the best soup I've ever had. Honey carrot soup. I pray they have this on the specials board again! The place itself is magical in appearance. It's small and quaintly with bright fairy lights and plants everywhere. The staff are friendly and smiley and so so welcoming! Would reccomend, will definitely be returning.
22/01/2025: We had breakfast here today and was absolutely delicious, couldn't fault a thing and looking forward to going back.
