ELY WINE STORE in Maynooth

got a chicken blaa and almond croissant plus coffee and hot chocolate for myself and my daughter. very nice place,chilled atmosphere, friendly staff, food and drinks were served quickly and quality was excellent. price reasonable. will be back!

I love Ely wine store and restaurant. However our main courses were delivered too cold to our table on out last visit. They did replace one of the dishes that we sent back to the kitchen and were apologetic, but it does have a negative effect on the experience, especially when spending so much on a dinner date. I'd recommend Ely highly and it was only one bad experience out of several wonderful nights out there.

I took my parents here for brunch at the weekend and it was so busy but our server (I hope Grace is the right name!) was absolutely wonderful! She was so pleasant and smiley, really engaged with us.... and my God she really went for it with the Happy Birthday singing! I asked if she could do a little candle on a brownie for my Dads birthday and she seemed genuinely happy to and her passionate sing song was much appreciated 😂🎉 Grace is an absolute credit to Ely Maynooth and so refreshing to come across someone ao genuinely nice.

great place to drop in for a coffee or have a meal. staff are all lovely and sophie’s customer service is always exceptional, always a smile on her face and very friendly :))

Had the Lamb Saddle which was very disappointing in terms of portion size - possibly the smallest amount of meat I've ever got on a main course plate. Other main courses appeared ok. Desserts was also very variable in terms of portion size, one barely filling the bottom third of a glass, others are well filled bowls. On the plus side the setting is very nice, the staff are friendly and efficient, and the food is good apart from portion size.

Felt rushed out the door by the staff, small portions and even smaller coffees.

Lovely evening. Great environment. Amazing deserts. Very nice wine. This time we went for a wine taste experience. Totally recommend it.
