Emperor's House in Portlaoise

This restaurant opens late, 11pm. Staff were very friendly and service was very quick. Ordered the fillet beef black bean and the veg kung po with egg fried rice. Had the spring roll and won tons to start. Food very nice, good portion size. Would revisit. The only thing I wasn't keen on and see it more and more is main course doesn't include rice/noodles in price so it is a bit pricey then for a main course. Our total for 2 was about 65, included 2 starters, main course, glass of wine and 2*fizzy drinks.

Fantastic place for a meal and great value for your euro

We had a family get together here for a birthday celebration. The food was delicious and the service was very good. The total bill was very reasonable. Just a little criticism, the atmosphere could be better.
