Errigal Country House Hotel in Cootehill

Myself and my partner now husband got married here in the Errigal country Hotel in Cootehill last Saturday 13/12/2025. I would like to start of by thanking Niall for everything he has done for us. Anything I asked and more he done. He is amazing man and very patient and looked after not only me the bride and groom but my family and friends to. Everyone that works in the Errigal are the nicest people I could ever meet. Very helpful, kind, friendly and are amazing at there jobs. All my guests couldn't get over how big the rooms were. Bridal suit was top class. The chef, thank you, the food was absolutely delicious. There wasnt a plate in the room not cleaned off. People are still talking about how good the food was. My band Temptations PJ a local man done us proud the dance floor was never empty. We all danced the night away in a magical ball room all done up for Christmas. Niall thank you from the bottom of my heart for making are day so special from start to finish. If anyone is newly engaged or getting engaged this Christmas please check out the Errigal hotel in Cootehill for your wedding you will not be disappointed how amazing the place is. I am so happy we choose here, staff, rooms, food ect was unreal. Niall thank you and your team for all you have done for me. X

We had a really lovely stay here. The outdoor spa was our highlight. Meal, cocktails etc were gorgeous. Staff were all super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend for an affordable night away

My 2nd visit here a birthday treat. I done the fab new R&R thermal suite and their €99 spa package. Like last year everything was amazing. prosecco, nibbles in there relaxation room. Fab massage with Shannon and a perfect wash n blow dry and chats with carmelle. Food was AMAZING My fave was the bao bun think it's called. It was so tasty. And the steak sandwich. Service was excellent 👌 Breakfast excellent rooms immaculate. And the best part it's so reasonable priced. There was music in the bar too. A great birthday at Errigle for a 2nd year in a row. No doubt I'll be back next year and hopefully a few times. 10/10.

We stayed for 1 night B&B and dinner . I want to commend your staff, in particular Brenda. She is truly exceptional, friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive. She went above and beyond at every point during our stay, from lunch to dinner. Her positive attitude and excellent service were standout features of our visit. Food was gorgeous, we had lunch, dinner and then breakfast the next morning and it was perfect.

This hotel is set in beautiful grounds in the small village of Cootehill. The staff we all friendly and helpful we had a Spacious room with a balcony. Breakfast was cooked to order with a great choice. We had a package which included a 2 course evening meal and a bottle of wine great value for money and the food was very good. They have an amazing spa area but we did not use the facilities hoping to avail of that next time. Could not fault this hotel and would definitely go back again.

Such a beautiful hotel located a few minutes outside Cootehill. Actually has the wow factor once you get to reception. Friendly staff. Had a lovely meal in the bar. Breakfast delicious. Can't wait to come back.

Stayed three nights here and my wife and I were very impressed. Our first time staying, but we will be back again. No complaints. Staff were friendly, welcoming, helpful and very attentive to the guests needs. Staff in the bar/restaurant area were brilliant and compliments to the chef and kitchen staff for the excellent food. Room was excellent with a balcony. Bed was very comfy. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Can't wait to go back.
