The vibe in there is cozy, and it wasn’t busy in the afternoon, which was nice. The place was barely half full, so it felt relaxed. On the service side, don’t expect much interaction; It’s a bit of a letdown if you’re big on customer service, as the staff seemed pretty hands-off. Food-wise, it was hit or miss. I had the JCB burger, and honestly, it wasn’t great — super dry, which was disappointing. But, on the flip side, the Massey Ferguson Burger was solid, and the cheesy truffle fries were a big win. The 12% service charge is included on the check. Hard to find parking in the area.

One of the only places I’ve been able to find a decent coffee in Dublin so far. I also had the lunch special. Soup and Buffalo chicken melt, both were fantastic!

Really good food and vibe. We tried the chicken & waffles, avocado toast and healthy toast and everything tasted great. It was pretty packed when we went and we needed reservations to go but it was worth it.

One thing I will never understand about Ireland & the British Isles is that it is next to impossible to get a standard breakfast anywhere before 10 am-strange because lunch menus often start at 11 & certainly by noon-it makes zero sense-breakfast needs to start no later than 8 am. Anywho...this place opened at 10 & I was able to get a plate of egg benedict w/salmon as I needed to eat quickly as I needed to to get to the central bus station by 11:15 to get to Belfast. It was a bank holiday but the staff were willing to let me purchase a cider to go w/my plate. The Benny was very good though it was a bit strange that it was not served on english muffins but on wheat bread but that was OK.

The staff here are the friendliness and most most helpful staff I've experienced in a long time. The food was lovely and the cocktails were great too. Defo recommend it 5 stars from me ☺️

09/11/2024: We were visiting our son who was studying abroad in Ireland. We were staying in Dun Laoghaire, and happened upon a sign for the restaurant advertising lobster thermidor. Well, we knew we had to come back for dinner, and it was the most AMAZING meal! It was a quiet Sunday night, so we were the only customers, and Daniel invited us into the kitchen to watch him cook scallops! Never had that happen before! The fresh caught scallops were the best I’ve had, and we live by the sea in California. My husband had the lobster bisque, which you can see in other reviews, it’s is made with care and is fantastic! For mains I had the lobster thermidor, my husband had the duck, and our son had the lamb shanks. All were exceptional. For dessert we had the profiteroles, the fried ice cream, and crème caramel. We were full, but still managed to finish dessert! All of this was paired with a wonderful wine Daniel recommended. The price for the meal and wine were remarkable given the high level of quality. Thank you, Daniel, for one of the most memorable meals we have ever had!

10/11/2024: An extremely cosy and cute café. Interiors and all the cutlery have a vintage touch. We tried their Irish breakfast and cheese and ham omelette, along with a cup of mocha. Food was very average and the menu is very basic with not many options. Personally felt the hot drinks were a bit pricey for the quantity. This apart, the cafe is worth a one-time try for the vibes.
