One of the best restaurants in Ireland!

Don't know why it took us so long to visit this place. We will definitely be returning to sample more of the menu!

Fantastic atmosphere and unbelievably good food. The cocktails were delicious too, I recommend the espresso martini 🍸 The visit was made complete by the welcoming and friendly staff who are the cherry on top. Highly recommend.

SPOT ON! Open Ham sandwich on brown, pot of tea. How mundane is that? Like most people, I've eaten countless examples but none better than Midleton's Farmgate. Bread slightly warm from the oven, freshly washed leaves, sliced pickled cucumber and slivers of delicate red onion, hints of a complex dressing set the foundation for the main ingredient. Ham, slow cooked flavoursome ham, just perfect, sliced thinly, served at room temperature. Everything was just as it should be. All prepared in-house that morning I expect. No big hoo hah or self promotion, just ordinary things, done extraordinarily well. Not a hint of a “food service provider " here Service; professional and engaged.

Delicious food and very attentive staff. Vegetables tasted so fresh and were cooked to perfection.
