11/09/2026: Lovely dinner for 2. Excellent attention to my gluten free requirements and plenty of choice - even desserts!! Would absolutely recommend

31/08/2026: After visiting the distillery, we desperately needed to eat. We got a table for 90 minutes – everything was reserved. The food was excellent and plentiful. The service was very friendly.

23/07/2026: I have no complaints about the talbot hotel in midtown. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the room was very spacious especially with us having a toddler with us the only 1 downfall was we were looking forward to the swimming pool but the temperature of the water was freezing my toddler was shivering with the cold in the water and spend all of 3/4 minutes in the pool. But over all we enjoyed our first family holiday in the hotel.

16/07/2026: Very easy to book . From the time we arrived to book in , the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and comfortable, spotlessly clean . It was our anniversary and the staff arranged chocolates in the room which was a lovely touch of kindness. The breakfast was delicious, a great range . We definitely will be back again.

29/08/2026: The coffee here is absolutely lovely! I’ve been in twice now and had a great experience both times. Easily my favourite coffee in Midleton

11/06/2026: The Pantry is the best morning routine I've had since Australia. Breakfast is cooked fresh to partner the first morning coffee to trigger the day. The cafe bussles with regulars, passing tourists from the Midleton Distillery on the same street with mix & match family groups getting the feed power up for the day or a special day.

22/08/2026: This is the best pizza. We've had pizza around the world. This is a top notch pizza. Not only that, the staff is so nice and charismatic. My wife needed the toilet badly I politely asked them to use toilet and the gentleman moved the counter out of the way to permit my lovely wife to the toilet. Then, here is probably the best part. She came down and so happy that the toilet room was the cleanest she's seen where men are involved, my self excluded. These men are nice and clean, and make the best thing crust pizza. We are going back for a second pie before we head back to Dublin and ultimately back home. We have a pizza joint back home whim makes similar pizza. Anyone to have a pie from this establishment can consider themselves lucky. If you have a distaste for this pizza, you are wrong. Big facts.

06/08/2026: Such an amazing food, I had beef hamburger with fried onions and fries. The best beef Ive ever had without a doubt. My girlfriend had the steak baggett which wad amazing aswell. It was 44e for 2 person

24/07/2026: Excellent Italian restaurant in the heart of County Cork, from pasta to wood-fired grilled chicken fillet, not to mention the delectable Chocolate Fudge Cake – absolutely divine. And on top of that, the waitress was charming and efficient. A must-try if you're ever in Midleton!

31/08/2026: Stopped by for a quick bite before our tour of the Jameson distillery and found some of the best, if not the best, Seafood Chowder I've ever eaten. It was that good. And being a soup person, I had to have a cup of their soup de jour which was also very good.

02/11/2025: I really enjoyed my meal here, the food was fantastic and the staff were incredible. The atmosphere was wonderful and the hand-painted art on the walls of the restaurant as well as on the stairs when going up were beautiful, the place seems like a real labour of love and it’s obvious every member of staff take huge pride in this restaurant. There are a large variety of options on the menu and the portions were huge! We were seated by the window and had a great view of the town, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly and made every effort to ensure we were all happy and didn’t need anything. One man in particular made an effort to chat with my family and even brought a complimentary dessert to celebrate my father’s birthday which was really kind, I wish we got his name because he was a very generous host. The lamb kofta was absolutely gorgeous and I will definitely be back to try more options on the menu as they all looked delicious and it was a struggle to pick just one. The menu also included vegetarian and vegan options so it’s suitable for pretty much anyone, as well as a play area for young kids which is very thoughtful. Thanks so much to all the staff for making a wonderful evening for my family, I have absolutely no complaints and will definitely be a returning customer!
