17/03/2026: I ate at the Bistro in the Talbot hotel recently, food was delicious one of the best meals I’ve had in recent times. Staff were friendly and attentive. Lovely relaxing atmosphere and enjoyable evening

01/11/2025: Firstly, a huge thank you to Brendan. My return from last year for 3 wonderful nights and plan to return next year. Supremely clean and comfortable rooms. A cozy traditional pub lies below rooms. A few minute walk into Midelton town centre. A 3 minute walk to train station which will have you into Cork City Centre in 22 minutes. Thanks to a terrific staff and the friendly locals who frequent this gem of a pub.

22/04/2026: I got, I ordered a fish supper very nice and a generous size chunky and fresh plenty for two people

07/04/2026: Fantastic fish and chips - good salt and vinegar use. Onion rings were the star of the show. Small dine-in area.
