24/06/2026: The Talbot was a nice enough hotel. The room wer stayed in did not have a/c and it was a very hot day in Ireland. The TV needed to be adjusted due to the HDMI cord continually falling out of the wall. Overall, a nice stay for just one night in Midleton.

04/06/2026: The Facilities are great, staff are really helpful and friendly. The food is excellent. I would recommend this hotel for leisure, business, or any occasion

01/11/2025: Firstly, a huge thank you to Brendan. My return from last year for 3 wonderful nights and plan to return next year. Supremely clean and comfortable rooms. A cozy traditional pub lies below rooms. A few minute walk into Midelton town centre. A 3 minute walk to train station which will have you into Cork City Centre in 22 minutes. Thanks to a terrific staff and the friendly locals who frequent this gem of a pub.

15/07/2026: Original and very tasty fast food. I recommend the southern fried chicken wrap with fries. Awesome!!!

08/07/2026: Staff were so friendly and chatty, food was 10/10 homemade onion rings were absolutely gorgeous best in cork by far,
