24/09/2024: The ultimate way you judge a restaurant is with it's food. Drove an hour on a tip. Food was just incredible and the chefs deserve as much praise as possible. Starter, Main, dessert were as good as each other. I didn't talk enough to my wife though because I couldn't stop enjoying the food. Still thinking about the Dahl.

09/04/2025: Got takeaway lunch on a busy day, food was ready quickly - the sandwich was super tasty and so big, great value, same with the salads. Friendly staff! Will definitely be visiting more often.
04/01/2025: Really enjoyed my visit to Monty's, got one of the smoothest oat flat whites I've ever had - I was questioning if it was even oat milk at all! Lovely service and great central location, will have to come back and try out the food in the future.
Limited enough seating but we waited a couple minutes and got a table.

Once a central part of the Midleton night scene, it is now a patchwork of bad ideas and no character that lacks direction or identity.
They have a pool table where once sessions were played. Dart boards where bands used to smash it every weekend and an outdoor area that once was the place to be, but is now a shabby dump.
Go anywhere else in town, you'll enjoy it more!
