15/02/2025: Call anytime down East food is incredible u won't get better taco fries and chesse anywhere. Any one I told to visit go back again. U won't b disappointed believe me. Staff always pleasent and patent.

16/03/2025: We had a great stay at the Talbot two nights ago, on our way through Midleton. The friendly and helpful staff were our first impression as we were greeted straight away and helped to our rooms. The room itself was huge and well appointed with comfortable beds and linen. The bathroom was also very big and elegant, with high quality products provided. I enjoyed a nightcap in the lively bar and a great sleep. With plentiful parking and a central location, you can't do better than this and the price was extremely reasonable. Highly recommended if you're visiting the distillery or travelling for work. Check out The Grumpy Bakers for the best pastries on planet earth - it's about a ten minute walk down the road. Can't wait to come back to Midleton again - thanks for a lovely stay.

24/09/2024: The ultimate way you judge a restaurant is with it's food. Drove an hour on a tip. Food was just incredible and the chefs deserve as much praise as possible. Starter, Main, dessert were as good as each other. I didn't talk enough to my wife though because I couldn't stop enjoying the food. Still thinking about the Dahl.

29/10/2024: Lovely staff.. nice vibes in the pub. If you just want to enjoy your drinks peacefully its a perfect pub.. mostly you will see mature crowd in this pub.
