The best restaurants in Midleton

21/11/2024: Never coming here again. Ordered coffee and plain croissant and was told it would cost 7.80 euros! Croissant didn't even look fresh so I just had the coffee. When I mentioned it was expensive I was told it's because of the VAT. I've never paid that amount anywhere else in Midleton. Avoid at all costs!!!!

28/05/2025: Staff were really friendly, service was quick and food good but restaurant had tired decor and I wouldn't recomend eating in.

24/04/2025: I ordered two Szechuan chicken tonight.When I took it home it tasted absolutely nothing like Szechuan chicken.Just pre cooked chicken in a type of sauce with veg and no flavour of any kind.I have just moved to Midleton and love Chinese food but I won’t be back.

01/09/2025: Popped in for a pint came out with a warm heart! The lovely bar keep was so welcoming, he chatted with us made us laugh and provided great recommendations in and out of town. These are the types of pubs you want to experience! Cheers

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great place to unwind while soaking in the distillery’s charm. Whether you’re visiting for the whiskey experience or just passing by, it’s definitely worth stopping in for a peaceful break.

18/09/2025: Very scrummy donuts made by the owner who starts baking at midnight for the next day. Shared a rose jam and custard donut. Sooo good!

16/08/2025: For me, The Railway Inn is one of the great bars of the world. Bars like The Railway Inn were two a penny when I was growing up. Times have changed, though and it is more difficult to find a place that has a bar and lounge. I was raised in a bar, worked as a barman in Cork City and Dublin and there is nothing I like more than being able to sit in a quiet bar, drinking my drink, reading my book and thinking my thoughts in PEACE as the two old style clocks tick away in the bar.
