Gloria Jean's Coffees
Midleton
12/11/2023: Nice friendly staff. Nice cappuccinos 😊
16/09/2023: Terrible experience in midleton store today. Witnessed a mother and child treated with a complete lack of empathy, respect and common decency.
Service and beverages were tasty though ruined by the actions of both baristas. Would find it hard to support this shop in the future

The railway inn
Midleton
16/08/2025: For me, The Railway Inn is one of the great bars of the world. Bars like The Railway Inn were two a penny when I was growing up. Times have changed, though and it is more difficult to find a place that has a bar and lounge.
I was raised in a bar, worked as a barman in Cork City and Dublin and there is nothing I like more than being able to sit in a quiet bar, drinking my drink, reading my book and thinking my thoughts in PEACE as the two old style clocks tick away in the bar. Heaven.
Don't go changing PAUL.
All the best,
Johnny
