The best restaurants in Midleton

22/02/2025: After a few previous meals that were not great, this week was their last chance and it went from bad to worse. I threw food in bin as I was afraid it would make me sick. Meat was dry and tough and not fresh. Food is definitely pre cooked more than once and reheated, such a shame as my family used to love their take away but never again. Recently it tastes like old the away reheated.

15/02/2025: Been here a good number of times over the years but of late this place is really heading downhill. The red curry was sickly sweet and honestly inedible this evening, service was absolutely shocking, especially the front till, no forks except wooden ones, no jugs of water or glasses, dirty tables. We won't return now for sure.

09/03/2025: Everything about this restaurant SCREAMS service, & all with a smile from every member of staff. This restaurant runs like a well oiled machine that produces HOT food served to you practically immediately. All members of staff serve and clean as they go ensuring that you the customer is happy in situ.

24/02/2025: Ordering from the mill grill was very handy but as an ongoing problem now with late deliverys and when it does come its cold even last night I ordered a takeaway at 8.15 was told as usual 40 to 45 minutes 9.40 and it still hadn't arrived rang was told it's on the way I said no thanks I get a refund and cancelled it knowing when it did arrive it would be frozen and the chips soggie l definently would be ordering from there again it's a shame when Sam Kingston and his daughter ran it it was absolutely delicious just to and I went in this evening for my refund and the attitude of the girl I was taking was very unprofessional I was told we usually don't delivery to that area bull we are getting a takeaway there for years she said we had a new delivery driver ya he had my eircode he didn't know where to go bull an absolute disgrace it's a pity to have staff that shrug their shoulders when you tell them you won't be ordering from them again I also got in contact with just eat

03/01/2025: Great Spot - can be cold as is so big but for games and atmosphere 2nd to none

27/12/2024: A sad shadow of its glory days. Once a central part of the Midleton night scene, it is now a patchwork of bad ideas and no character that lacks direction or identity. They have a pool table where once sessions were played. Dart boards where bands used to smash it every weekend and an outdoor area that once was the place to be, but is now a shabby dump. Go anywhere else in town, you'll enjoy it more!

06/03/2025: Their spice bag was excellent and service was prompt but the highlight is the lady in the front is hilarious and a great character. Thanks we will be back again!

20/01/2025: We ordered a Pizza a burger and wedges last Saturday night, January 18th. The only positive was the delivery driver and quick delivery time. The food was worse than a dogs dinner, the Burger was burnt to crisp like it had been taken to hell with the devil and back. Disgusting and not edible, I genuinely wouldn't and didn't feed it to my dogs. The pizza was slightly better but that is not saying much. It was also burnt on the underside it might have dodged the trip to hell the burger enjoyed but it was definitely overcooked. I am still waiting on the wedges. Very disappointing and to be honest I have ordered from here in the past and it has been okay. But seriously how can you even think to send food out like that, It smacks of carelessness and awful customer service. I will not order from here again. 30 euro for the pleasure. No thanks.

14/12/2024: Very friendly staff with a happy to serve smile which will always bring me back to a place food is very nicely priced and very tasty

12/08/2024: Terrible experience came here today with family as part of our stay at the hotel where do I start we were seated and ordered at 6:10pm didn’t receive food until after 7pm when questioned staff told me we were going to have to wait another 20 minutes because they had 2 bigger tables and we weren’t the priority when food arrived it was cold flavourless and disgusting I would give zero stars if I could I payed 31 euro for a steak it comes out cold and when reported staff says “I’ll put it in the microwave for a minute “ we won’t be back highly advise everyone avoids this place for food

25/07/2024: Bad service waited 1 hour after starter, staff avoiding contact and didnt return with solution, total breakdown of service and communication, shame as it's a lovely space, went to Lennoxs for a bag of chips

06/08/2024: Had lunch here, toasties, tasted great, served beautifully.

13/07/2024: Their coffees are lovely and the staff are friendly. The food is on the expensive side. I would return for coffees only.

21/10/2024: It's hit and miss. Have had wonderful meals from here, but today the chicken was awful, my udon noodles had barely a piece of veg in them. My daughter's steak was like it was a cold carvery roast sliced, left in a container for a day then thrown in her teriyaki after it was cooked. The nicest part was the free prawn crackers.

20/07/2024: Stupid spastic behind the counter told me when i rang inquiring about my food that was an hour late that she rang me and i said i didnt want food

04/09/2024: Awful customer service and a very arrogant manager. He thinks he can do whatever he wants without any consequences. Discrimination from the age, the looks, and didn't serve a child because the child did not say 'hello' who ended up getting banned for that. The child that day was sad as he just went through 2 funerals a couple days prior, and got banned for not saying 'hello' from the resturant The manager told us he is arrogant because of it.

22/03/2025: The food is decent but the service is terrible. Numerous occasions where the delivery drivers have been very rude at the door, just had one of them start roaring and shouting at my parents house over "the potholes in the drive" which had been filled already. The fact people can behave like that and not face any consequences is a joke!

24/02/2025: Food is always lovely but portion sizes are gone very bad, I got a wrap and there was hardly any meat inside it it was flat and there was salad in it, hardly any cheese on pizza. Price we are paying these days for takeaway it should be decent.
