17/03/2024: One pint was ordered and paid. Once served I was requested to pay again. Very bad experience.

12/01/2024: Cosy nice bar, especially when there's live music. Friendly staff, great atmosphere.

27/03/2024: I went to the drive-thru, the food I ordered was gone, but they quickly suggested another one for the same price

11/03/2024: The worst place to visit in the Winter -it was FREEZING. We went there around 6pm and it was so uncomfortable to eat here, even with our coats on. Aside from that the restaurant was clean and the service was speedy. Toilets were relatively clean.

22/03/2024: I've been going to Park89 for lunch for a while and after I went in today March 2024I discovered you can no longer get a half portion. This is really disappointing as the cost of living is so high at the moment. I wont be returning.

11/02/2024: Variable experiences, Ok for Sunday lunch, we were there one night during the week, service was awful. At one stage we wondered if we were invisible!!! Had to ask twice at least,for most things. Things you shouldn't have to ask:would you bring the menu,could you wipe the table after the last people,can we have napkins,can we have a finger bowl,could we have some water. Never seen it as bad. Food was good, though 😋.

18/03/2024: I received a gift voucher for The Black Barrel in Midleton for Christmas 2023. The Black Barrel has been closed every day since Christmas even though their website can take reservations but any reservation I have made is cancelled last minute. I have tried to ring and send emails to The Black Barrel on many occasions but I am unable to get in contact with the staff. I'm not sure what the owners of The Black Barrel are at, some communication would be great.

16/09/2023: Terrible experience in midleton store today. Witnessed a mother and child treated with a complete lack of empathy, respect and common decency. Service and beverages were tasty though ruined by the actions of both baristas. Would find it hard to support this shop in the future

12/10/2023: This outlet has gone downhill in the last few years..the food has gone down but their prices has increased quite a lot..also if you now order the expensive steak sub. You don't get to pick your favourite toppings..its all a set order.. A footlong with a coffee and a kids 6 inch with a drink ..18 euros + So yes quite expensive

18/03/2024: Nice little Italian restaurant in the middle of Midleton. We went here for dinner after the Whiskey Tour Experience. The food was first class, very tasty at really good prices. Highly recommended and would be happy to come back at any time!!

13/01/2024: I ordered a pizza that arrived cold. I phoned and spoke to a lovely man he was very apologetic and sent another pizza straight away. Very good service I would recommend.

11/11/2023: Beautiful place to eat food is always good! Workers are always so nice and helpful ! Place is spotlessly clean! Delivery is always fast and comes hot! Kebabs are amazing and the fish is sooo good too! 10/10 definitely recommend.

11/12/2023: 4in1, king prawn was rubbery and difficult to get down, chips were kind of stale and the sauce was very nice to taste but the consistency was gloopy

10/03/2024: Paid €31 for take away this evening, paid by card even though they nearly DEMAND cash even when ringing the order in! Got home to discover they had left my order short prawn crackers, which i paid for. Rung them up to make light of this, and told them to simply refund me by card (same way i paid) as i was not driving all the way back down. I was swiftly told ‘no, we wont be refunding you by card as we are too busy, u can either come back down for prawn crackers, or we will give u free prawn crackers next time, or if u want refund come back down and we will refund in cash’ and that was it. Absolutely wont be going back for food as the chips were cremated. I will return for my refund of prawn crackers however, as the manner in which they conduct their business is actually illegal. They would swiftly want to change their business practices because the amount of money they charge for sub-standard food along with their demeanour towards customers, its no surprise they can only offer take out now and their dine-in has stayed closed since covid. Shocking experience overall, would not recommend to a dog.

09/03/2024: Terrible experience, they really need to work on their customer service. Only had part of the order when we arrived home, they were completely indifferent when we phoned and when I made the 30 Km round trip to pick up the rest. A very half-hearted "sorry about that" from the person behind the counter. Food was only ok with spring rolls inedible. Will not spend money with them again. One a separate issue - they need to stop badgering people to pay with cash when they have full card facilities.
