Back to normal after Covid, like it never closed, great night out any day of the week, busy at the weekends, some live music to be heard at times too. Visiting Oldcastle, make sure to put it on your list.

05/08/2025: We stopped there for lunch between the visit of Loughcrew and Fore abbey. The place was quiet. We really like the decoration. We had carvery dishes as main, leg of lamb and turkey and ham. They were very nice, and so were the side dishes. That was very good. The deserts were not as good, still ok. The apple pie's crust was very soggy though the filling was nice. And why the plastic cup under the ice cream? Setvice was good.
